Windows Vista Service Pack 1 in Mid-March

February 5th, 2008

Microsoft delayed the release date of Windows Vista Service Pack 1 till mid March. Its been rotating that the Service Pack 1 was ready but to fix some bugs and patches to make it more better. This delay also affected the release of Windows 2008 Server. It is due release along with the Vista Service Pack 1.

This delay was done to make some enhancements for hardware support with the new Windows Vista. As Windows Vista proved to be really very bumbling with hardware compatibility.Hence,XP users are terrified to switch over to Windows Vista easily.

The new Windows Server 2008 and Windows Vista Service Pack 1 is being shipped to manufacturers and will be available next month. So hold your time and wait for it.

Google steps in Microsoft-Yahoo deal.

February 5th, 2008

As I had early stated, Microsoft-Yahoo deal might worry Google, so now Google has come forward to this issue.Google Inc. has stepped its foot in one of the biggest internet acquisitions. Google had recently talks with Yahoo CEO stating the reason why this acquisition shouldn’t proceed.

Google claims this merger will cut off the competition and wouldn’t keep anything in the internet search engines race. Google also suggested Yahoo to outsource its search business to Google and then proceed with this deal.

Now, if Yahoo outsources its search business to Google then the whole search business is over.No doubt Google works very differently and efficiently as compared to Microsoft like Google supports open source projects, has good servers and better service.Whereas Microsoft on other hand has secure servers with a lot of complications.

ATI's new graphic card much faster than 8800 Ultra!!!Wait NVIDIA 9 series to come soon.

February 3rd, 2008

Don’t rub your eyes read it carefully. ATI pre-owned by AMD has manufactured and introduced ATI Radeon HD 3870 X2 Graphics which is supposed to break all the barriers of gaming graphics till date. This isn’t an enormous one but is still supposed to be the fastest graphic card till date.

ATI

This graphic card is supposed to have the best processing power AMD’s GPUs have ever produced, its much faster, more performance, and give twice the performance per watt as compared to older GPUs. This has definitely given AMD/ATI good lead. But I fear this lead won’t last until NVIDIA launches the 9 series graphic cards which support DirectX 10.1 and Shader Model 4.1 to be released in the lunar year of February.

NVIDIA GEFORCE

The company has kept all the gaming addicts at hold with it soon to be launched high-end D9E, the first of the 9 series which is supposed to be 33% faster than the present high-end 8800 Ultra. The D9E would boost the graphics benchmark and might give a run for Crysis with it 65nm fabrication technology. The company will also launch mid-range 55nm GeForce 9 family product named D9P in June 2008.

Till then let ATI steal the show and have some fame and honor in the gaming industry.

PEACE.

Vista SP1 to mark its debut on 4 Feb

February 3rd, 2008

Microsoft Inc. has finally announced the release of Windows Vista SP1 on 4 Feb, which means a hell lot of security patches and bug fixes. And sure enough some patches to fight “piracy” their own way.

Microsoft claims Windows Vista SP1 would just have security updates, hotfixes and to enhance the overall quality of the operating system. This time Microsoft will test this Service Pack with the help of their Technology Adaption Program(TAP). Which would include some normal users who will give a good feedback about this pack. The Service pack 1 will be offered by Microsoft Update, Windows Update and Windows Server Update Services.

Windows VistaAlong with the Vista’s first ever Service Pack, Windows is also getting ready with its Windows Server 2008 which would surely be much better and stable than the older Windows Server OS.

Hopefully this service pack do some real good job for PCs which have low configurations and still want to run Vista on their Desktops. This step might bring in some more sales for Microsoft and eventually make it a good update. This patch will also include the more rigorous Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA) piracy check and tweak Vista a little bit which might make it more secure.

Update to the Vista Service Pack 1 release.
