Flash Update for Apple to cover a security hole

The recent “Hack Mac” promenade brought Adobe Flash in limelight as a security threat to Apple. The vulnerability with the roots close to cross-domain content is named the critical of all the security threats. But Adobe revealed that a security patch has already been made and delivered in the next Flash Player 9, eliminating the vulnerability.

Flash OnThe security loops created by cross-domain content made it easy for hackers to get into MAC easily. But Adobe with this security patch has added a “cross-domain content policy” which is needed to access content on flash driven websites and monitors the data transfer. Even malicious script executions has been made difficult with this patch. This new version also has a few more bugs fixed which also include the ATI video cards full-screen issues.
