Microsoft has confirmed a successor for Windows Vista , code-named Windows 7, it will start shipping from 2010. Giving 3 years for users to use the disappointing predecessor. The planning stage for Windows 7 is already over and development will take 3 years with no delays as earlier, stated Microsoft.

Microsoft confirmed, this time there wouldn’t be any delay like they delayed Vista for 6 years. It is estimated that Vista has touched the 100million mark and will soon achieve the prescribed goal of 200million by end of 2008. The new Windows 7 does look good as well nothing has been much different from Windows Vista but all the looks are good and it is supposed to be fine.

By the way looking at the statistics of number of Windows already developed. Shouldn’t this be Windows 10 or 11. Anyways the first beta version is expected to come out by May 2009.
