AT&T the wireless telecoms company is getting it feet into Internet. With the launch of a browser, the company claims to built good relationships with the customers in a better and newer way. The browser name Pogo is still in private beta stage which mean AT&T will make sure people will get real good product as soon as it is made public.

In the browser battle, where Mozilla has certainly owned most the market and Internet Explorer gaining back the popularity since its IE 8 Beta, Opera stands no where and in such situations making Internet users use a new browser where Mozilla has gained all the charm, well sounds difficult. But wait , did I tell you Pogo can do this !! Well Pogo is like a mixture of Mozilla along with the some jazzy graphical appearance which makes it stand out in the competition. Still its time all the people can test it as its still in private beta.

This new browser has some really cool features. This could take Internet surfing at a different level. Well no its not weird nor extraordinary. All links typed in the address bar takes you to the perfect location, tabs are included. Its the browser as it should be. Well this is Pogo something should be different and here it goes, bookmarks and history is totally weird, a multi-homepage function called Springboard is added. Now the reason why bookmarks and Springboard is called weird addition. The age of links as bookmark has ended. Pogo has used a 3D engine to create and show snapshots of websites(called cells) in a unique way, it looks like using Windows Vista Aero.

The history also has snapshots saved for better reference, this could be very useful for web surfers like me who keep on surfing the whole day and when I need something i already visited this graphical representation of the history is a boon. The tabbed browsing is also very advanced thing as it also uses small snapshots this might eat a lot of processes while surfing as all these graphical representation of websites will make it utilize a lot of memory. Seems Firefox’s Add-on Piclens is spread everywhere in Pogo and the snapshots thing is fully grasped from Internet Explorer 7+.

Will have to wait till it goes public I am also out of invitations so can’t really help you too. So please don’t ask for invitations. For now I can tell you just one thing, It looks good.
