Quicktime 7.5 Out Now!

Apple Rolled out an Update for the famous Quicktime Player. The update is available for Windows (22.67MB), Leopard (56MB), Tiger (52.8MB), and Panther (51.39MB), as Apple blatantly disregards the needs of users still using Jaguar, Puma, and Cheetah.

If you are looking for some updates regarding the new Player add-ons. Apple got its own legacy of the weird change log with “QuickTime 7.5 improves application compatibility and addresses security issues.”

Apparently this release fixes five QuickTime vulnerabilities, including, but not limited to, a number of issues bridging from maliciously crafted media and image files to arbitrary code execution.

You can update either by Apple Software update or download from their download page.
