It stores all your data in an international open standard format and can also read and write files from other common office software packages.

Online as well as a offline. Think free is one of the Stable Office Application other than Microsoft Office 2007. Thought works a little slow compared to Open Office, but the online accessibility makes it good with everything.

Easy to use because of its smooth interface. Basically based on Open Office so works great.
