Now on WordPress 2.9! Too good!

December 20th, 2009

It’s out. And as always it feels good to use it on every other update.

Some features everyone should know.

The coolest new stuff from a user point of view is:

  1. Global undo/”trash” feature, which means that if you accidentally delete a post or comment you can bring it back from the grave (i.e., the Trash). This also eliminates those annoying “are you sure” messages we used to have on every delete.
  2. Built-in image editor allows you to crop, edit, rotate, flip, and scale your images to show them who’s boss. This is the first wave of our many planned media-handling improvements.
  3. Batch plugin update and compatibility checking, which means you can update 10 plugins at once, versus having to do multiple clicks for each one, and we’re using the new compatibility data from the plugins directory to give you a better idea of whether your plugins are compatible with new releases of WordPress. This should take the fear and hassle out of upgrading.
  4. Easier video embeds that allow you to just paste a URL on its own line and have it magically turn it into the proper embed code, with Oembed support for YouTube, Daily Motion, Blip.tv, Flickr, Hulu, Viddler, Qik, Revision3, Scribd, Google Video, Photobucket.

Nerrot- World’s Minimal Torrent Site

December 20th, 2009

Nerrot, a new torrent site launching today in early beta, somehow manages to make even Google look cluttered. Nicholas, the programmer behind Nerrot, told TorrentFreak that his motto is “Simply, simplify, simplistically!” This philosophy is evident in the site’s interface and operation.

Nerrot bills itself as an “instant torrent downloader” and is very easy to use. Simply type in the name of the material you’re looking for as accurately as possible into the search field and the appropriate torrent is immediately delivered.

Behind the scenes, Nerrot does all the boring stuff automatically. The torrent file it delivers to you aims to be the most relevant to your search and should also be one that connect you to the healthiest available swarm.

Technology is Fast

December 7th, 2009

This blog is slow and tech is advancing very fast. Few things i realised that are destroying this blog and domain.

Being a inactive blog doesn’t help the blog at all. The page rank is gone, the readers are gone, the ads are clumsy and even the blog does feel naive now. The visitors have dropped down tremendously. Keeping this blog inactive didn’t help at all. The worst part was getting down from Page Rank of 4/5 to Page Rank of nothing / 2 .

Would try to keep updating this blog now.  Updates would be a bit slow, having some issues with the server, so might move to a new host soon. Get your potbellied pig to mate . Its time to rock n all.

Few weeks n the blog would be back in action.

A Good Live support System for websites- LiveHelpNow

December 1st, 2009

Been long time since my blog update.  So coming back with a short post about the live support system you could actually use. I know there are many live support systems which work the same way every time you try to get a demo. But this one is a little different. This Customer service software is very sleek and amazing.

This live help support system has various ways to tackle customer issues. The most basic one to follow is the live chat system. You never want to ignore your customers and this will help you follow that very simple principle. Getting live help is the best reply to a customer’s issue. The other method is Ticket System. Since you would soon become a big website you would have global customers and not all could be tackled online. So a ticket system which would manage all the user complaints/issues should be very responsive. And this ticket system does the job, it not only manages all the tickets coming, but also helps you fill up the whole support system with issues which you need to solve asap.

The overall support system works perfectly and flawlessly. I suppose you should give Customer service software a try.

Its very cheap to give it a try and the main this is you can avail a free trial for start. And i guess you surely would be benefited from it.
