A feast for the eyes
Full-bleed photos and videos are cool. But you know what’s really cool? Content so immersive it remakes your mobile device into a rich carousel of beloved memories and breaking news. That’s the Google+ experience we aspire to, and today’s release helps us get closer:

A stream you can swim in
Looks alone aren’t enough—you also need an app that’s fast and fluid. Even a simple swipe gesture can inspire the same “wheeee!” as the bubble wands and ball pits we enjoy(ed) as kids. So today’s update pays special attention to fun and performance:

• Conversations fall into view as you move forward and backward in time
• Optical cues (like parallax) help the mind linger on individual posts
• Important actions like +1 now float atop the stream, making it easy to endorse all your favorites

The Apps looks like has been made ground up from scratch and has completely changed the look of Google+ on iPhone. Surely, they have talented engineers working there to make it happen but this App must have taken its time to make it look so gorgeous.

Google announced Google Drive today and you can check it out at drive.google.com.

Just like any other cloud storage service it makes a specific folder in your computer which syncs with all the computers and devices. As of now its only available for Windows, Macs and Android, but a iOS app is in works.
Sorry Linux users, no news on Linux app.

Available on all the jailbroken devices running iOS5 ( iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPad, iPad 2 and iPod Touch ), i4Siri is a free Cydia App which brings the virtual assistan in any iOS 5 running devices.

This is how its done :

1. You need a jailbroken device running iOS5.
2. Go to Cydia > Manage > Sources > Edit > Add > http://i4siri.com/repo
3. Install i4Siri ( if you don’t have Spire, then be patient. i4Siri would install Spire for you ) Respring your device.
4. Settings > Spire > https://i4sirifree.mooo.com/ ( this link should be there in the proxy server area,  if not then just add it )
5. Go back to Settings > i4Siri > Tap on Install Certificate.

Once the certificate is installed you are good to so, you can start using Siri and it would work exactly as it works on iPhone 4S.

According to Apple, Siri isn’t on older iOS devices because it requires an optimized and fast processor. I won’t claim it works great on older devices but you should give it a try on your device and am sure you won’t be disappointed. I recommend you to try this now and use it till the proxy server gets flooded with alot of Siri requests. Within few weeks or months, Apple would find a way to block this but till then enjoy Siri.

What makes Readability different is, despite being a free service and now a free app they figured out a way to pay content creators whos content is being read in their app.Being a member you can opt to become a subscriber of which 70% would go to the content creator.  You can of course choose not to subscribe and use the service for free.

Using Readability is simple, you add a bookmarket or a add-on to your desktop browser and any time you see some article you would want to read later, just press the Readability button or use the bookmarklet and it would get added to your account.
Now whenever you want to read the article just go to their website, login and read in a stripped down, ad free way or just open the app and read it on it.

Using the Collections feature, one of the founders of Chill, built a collection of all the possible videos related to Steve Jobs. This isn’t new, as in past a user had made a site dedicated to Steve Jobs in his memory. Why this collection mainly stands out is because of some of the videos which were recently discovered and shown to public are added to this collection.

Along with a new brushed UI, Instagram has added a new feature called Lux. What Lux does is, it enhances your dark part of the images. This way the ares of your photo which aren’t visible in because of low exposure, are made vibrant. This can be used with the filters or without the filters. Lux is just like HDR feature on iPhone but this can be done even after taking the photo just incase if you need it.

You get increased 500 MB upto 4.5 GB of extra space for uploading your photos and videos directly to Dropbox. This has to be done by running the new Dropbox client which allows you to enable the photo import feature.
You can download and install the client from the Dropbox forums, for more information read here.

During this beta period, we are also offering additional free space to test automatic uploading of photos and videos. For every 500MB of photos and videos automatically uploaded, you’ll receive another 500MB space bonus, up to 4.5GB total.

So its still not clear if your extended storage space is valid till the beta period of it stays with you forever. But till then  you can experiment and take the extra free storage space and flaunt your jealous friends.
Most likely this storage space upgrade would be permanent.

Once installed, you need to enable the photo import feature. The photo import feature relies on Autoplay, which needs to be enabled. This is done under Start Menu > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > AutoPlay in Windows 7.

If everything goes fine and you use the feature as expected, you would be getting 4.5GB of extra storage space absolutely free.

To enable this service, you don’t really need to update or download anything. If you plug in a SD card or connect your smartphone, your Dropbox would have an option to ‘Enable Dropbox camera import’.

As of now this feature is only available for Windows and Mac users. There are still some restrictions to this, like iPhone users need to unlock the device and enter the passcode ( if any) to start the import. 
It is your choice to enable or disable this feature, but what interesting is that it is available to all users without any new update.

Unfortunately this is still in closed beta, so downloading the App won’t help much as you need to have the Mobile beta activated on your desktop client, but it seems like trying to login via the App adds you in the Queue for beta invite.
