New Way to Navigate Google Apps

Google is replacing its black navigation bar with something new called as the ‘Google Bar’.This updated new version would remove the top black bar completely and every option of that navigation bar could be now accessed by each Google’s webapp logo.

So switching between different Google services could now be triggered by clicking the Google’s webapp logo which you are presently using and a non-irritating dropdown menu appears which holds all the Google services associated to your account.

Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Source Code Released

To everyone’s surprise, Google has released the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Source code through the Android Open Source Project ( ASOP ) ahead of the release of their flagship device ( Galaxy Nexus ) which is launching 17th November.

This is actually the source code for version 4.0.1 of Android, which is the specific version that will ship on the Galaxy Nexus, the first Android 4.0 device. In the source tree, you will find a device build target named “full_maguro” that you can use to build a system image for Galaxy Nexus. Build configurations for other devices will come later.

Gmail Rolls Out the New Look

Gmail has started rolling out its snappy new interface to the world. This is the same new look which was leaked last week.

Google+ Now Available for Google App Users

Google’s social networking site ‘Google+‘ had one major issue, Google App users weren’t allowed to sign up or join the service anyhow, with their Google Apps account. It was a bit disappointing for all the paid Google Apps businesses as they had to sign up with their personal accounts even to make their professional Google+ Profile.

Google announced on their Google Enterprise blog, that Google+ is as of today available for Google Apps users too. Google Apps administrators manually have to start this service for their domain/account for their organization users to sign up and start using. » Read more: Google+ Now Available for Google App Users
