PicLens adds Youtube and Amazon

One of the most famous browser plugin, PicLens has added Youtube and Amazon to provide futuristic Graphic Display of images as well as videos.

For youtube, The PicLens plug-in will install a grid button on your Toolbar, which you click to activate the PicLens full-screen interface. Click a thumbnail to start playing a video, while the search box lives in the upper right of your screen. As video starts playing, standard YouTube controls appear at the bottom of the video.

On Amazon, the main Amazon.com page doesn’t support the PicLens button, but if you click on the button anyway it will open up the PicLens UI. From there, change the Web site search to Amazon, type in your search term, and images of whatever item you searched for will pop out.

Google Treasure Hunt 2008

For geeks who know they are good at low level programming, who understand logic and definitely love networking should participate in Google Treasure Hunt 2008. As mentioned by Google’s Australian Engineers “we’ve launched Treasure Hunt — a puzzle contest designed to test yer problem-solving skills in computer science, networking, and low-level UNIX trivia.”

Now every puzzle on the internet doesn’t stay unsolved, everyone does it, even if they can’t spoilers are ready to help them. But Google left no chances for spoilers to mess all the fun. The questions posted on this Treasure Hunt are generated for every participant. The basic idea is same just the statistical solutions are different. You can re enter you answer n number of times. So don’t even try to search for spoilers, they might not help you much.

Till time there are only 2 questions posted so make sure you solve them, I solved them both and they are really difficult.

Install the PMOG firefox extension and you are done. Just like any other game, you have character, you have armor, you can lay traps, and accept missions even create a mission. The fun with game is endless. You just need to install the extension, a PMOG toolbar is installed and the game starts. As you surf you level up with the data points you acquire.

You can lay traps on websites and when some other player visits the trapped website, it explodes and you gain points.
