Dolphin Browser has been on the ‘Top Apps’ list in Android Marketplace for a long time. Android users have enjoyed all the smart features like smart gesture, tabbed browsing, sleek user interface, ‘web zine’ , nifty & useful add-ons, useful sidebar functions and many more in this browser. Now all these features would be available for iOS for all the users ( iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch ). Check the demo to get idea of its smart features.

But Dolphin too faces the same restrictions that other third-party browsers have on iOS. The App cannot be changed to become you device’s default browser, which means even if like this browser and you use it for all your web browsing all the time, opening links from other apps will always return to Safari.
Overall this is a great browser with many features. At first it might take time for you to adjust to all these features but eventually you would get used to those very quickly.

Google catching up with Browser market very fast. Just four months and Google Chrome has advanced from 0.2 to 2.0. Though the present version is just a Pre-beta launch but the progress seems very fast. Many new features added, but some bugs and errors have their stay.

Getting the Pre-Beta Version :

Install Google Chrome google.com/chrome . Now, Subscribe to the developer preview channel. This is required even if you’ve previously subscribed to the channel. Wait until the new version is downloaded (you may force the update by opening the “About Google Chrome” dialog).

1. Autocomplete

No need of Browser Restart to switch to new profile. Isn’t that great?

How was your experience? And,If ever while experiencing the Beta Version, you feel the urge to stop using this Beta due to some problems, you can downgrade to lower version, just by reinstalling Chrome again.

Tor is a freely accessible network that allows Internet traffic to flow through it securely and anonymously. Tor brings anonymous internet surfing to your browser and helps to prevent websites from tracking users and can also help users to bypass blocked sites by their Internet service providers (ISPs) or government. Tor download bundles are available for Windows, Mac, and Linux.

Tor !? How does that work?!

Internet Surfers (Volunteers) run Tor software to allow their computers to become Tor nodes. Tor nodes pass Internet traffic between each other securely and anonymously. When the traffic reaches the final destination, it does so through a normal Internet connection. Too much of Tech. Nevermind check this

Installing Tor is very easy and can be done just by reading the Tor Documentation. For firefox users you should install the Tor button addon. The Tor button makes it very easy to switch Tor on and off in Firefox. Handy! Isn’t it?

I advice you to use Firefox and Tor cause if your are using Tor normally and you get a slow node, then even if you have a fast ISP, surfing using Tor would be really slow. As for Firefox you can easily turn it ON and OFF thus changing the node everytime your reset it.

Seems to me Tor is really helpful at many time!:P What do you say!?

For youtube, The PicLens plug-in will install a grid button on your Toolbar, which you click to activate the PicLens full-screen interface. Click a thumbnail to start playing a video, while the search box lives in the upper right of your screen. As video starts playing, standard YouTube controls appear at the bottom of the video.

On Amazon, the main Amazon.com page doesn’t support the PicLens button, but if you click on the button anyway it will open up the PicLens UI. From there, change the Web site search to Amazon, type in your search term, and images of whatever item you searched for will pop out.

The Amazon interface is a little slower but as plugin will get updated we should expect some good things .

There also seems to be a WordPress plugin. I will install it soon on my blog. Keep on checking.

In the browser battle, where Mozilla has certainly owned most the market and Internet Explorer gaining back the popularity since its IE 8 Beta, Opera stands no where and in such situations making Internet users use a new browser where Mozilla has gained all the charm, well sounds difficult. But wait , did I tell you Pogo can do this !! Well Pogo is like a mixture of Mozilla along with the some jazzy graphical appearance which makes it stand out in the competition. Still its time all the people can test it as its still in private beta.

This new browser has some really cool features. This could take Internet surfing at a different level. Well no its not weird nor extraordinary. All links typed in the address bar takes you to the perfect location, tabs are included. Its the browser as it should be. Well this is Pogo something should be different and here it goes, bookmarks and history is totally weird, a multi-homepage function called Springboard is added. Now the reason why bookmarks and Springboard is called weird addition. The age of links as bookmark has ended. Pogo has used a 3D engine to create and show snapshots of websites(called cells) in a unique way, it looks like using Windows Vista Aero.

The history also has snapshots saved for better reference, this could be very useful for web surfers like me who keep on surfing the whole day and when I need something i already visited this graphical representation of the history is a boon. The tabbed browsing is also very advanced thing as it also uses small snapshots this might eat a lot of processes while surfing as all these graphical representation of websites will make it utilize a lot of memory. Seems Firefox’s Add-on Piclens is spread everywhere in Pogo and the snapshots thing is fully grasped from Internet Explorer 7+.

Will have to wait till it goes public I am also out of invitations so can’t really help you too. So please don’t ask for invitations. For now I can tell you just one thing, It looks good.

The new IE for those 48% of Internet Users has few good things and a few bad things. Domain names made prominent, web slices enabled, Favorites bar added with some good features, Load of activities as soon as you right-click and the best thing is easily recoverable session if IE crashes or even your system freezes. The bad things are web slices is old thing, IE crashes too often and loads more as you use it yourself.

Windows sure is trying too hard to get cross the Firefox mark but it just seems impossible as Firefox is much better and proved what it need to prove. Still for those IE lovers download it here.
