Nicholas, the programmer behind Nerrot, told TorrentFreak that his motto is “Simply, simplify, simplistically!” This philosophy is evident in the site’s interface and operation.

Nerrot bills itself as an “instant torrent downloader” and is very easy to use. Simply type in the name of the material you’re looking for as accurately as possible into the search field and the appropriate torrent is immediately delivered.

Behind the scenes, Nerrot does all the boring stuff automatically. The torrent file it delivers to you aims to be the most relevant to your search and should also be one that connect you to the healthiest available swarm.

After exactly 6 months of most frustrating downtime. Internet’s most favourite tracker Demonoid is back online with a new administrator. The homepage confirms that Deimos, the former administrator, left the Demonoid staff. The site seems to be working properly, as does the tracker, but expect some downtime in the next few days. The best part is old accounts work here and you can get logged in with your old username and password.

Well everything had been very bad for demonoid since last year, the tracker even came online once on 17th February with the servers setup in Malaysia. This sudden tracker online status clicked the hope of demonoid coming back even after nudging this painful road setup by CRIA.

Hope this time the site remains with us forever. No downtime again.

Happy Seeding!!!

Three months I have been seeing demonoid tracker(0ffline) suddenly some days back the tracker seems to have started again. The private torrent community demonoid.com for which people feared won’t start again suddenly showed some miraculous update.

The domain is still hosted in US with the post-demonoid offline famous forum Subdemon forums but the tracker is hosted in Malaysia from the last few days. Its been not more than 3 days when the tracker started responding. Now it offline again.

Few months back Deimos the founder and admin of demonoid.com posted “Money is an issue, but the real problem at the moment is finding a suitable place to host the website. There has been no luck there. And there’s some personal stuff I need to take care of that takes most of my time at the moment, and that does not help.”as reported by Torrentfreak.

For those who forgot or are still unaware what demonoid.com has gone through. The Dutch anti-piracy company BREIN started forcing demonoid.com admin Deimos and their ISP with all legal notices.Soon demonoid.com was shifted to Canada which caused a few days downtime for the site.Deimos tried to keep this a secret from all the Administrators these problems, so everybody assumed due to some hardware failure they had to shift the server but eventually everyone came to know about the real thing going on.But later again demonoid.com went offline but this time for a brief period of time, and this time it wasn’t a secret that CRIA was behind all this and later Deimos confirmed this news too but refused to speak much about it.

But five days later,demonoid.com was resumed again but this time Canadian users were banned to shut CRIA’s mouth. But November the site was down and everyone knew demonoid.com was trapped in the hands of CRIA.

From that day no one knew whether demonoid.com would start again or not but 15th November it was reported demonoid tracker was back online but 4 days later on 19th November users reported it was offline again. This might be the case that demonoid.com could come back online after this brief downtime period.Till then Piratebay can enjoy for being the best torrent tracker.
